Why You'll Love This Recipe
If you've ever eaten at a Greek festival or family taverna, you've probably fallen in love with Greek lemon potatoes.
Golden and crispy on the outside, soft and creamy inside, they're roasted slowly in olive oil, fresh lemon juice, garlic, and herbs until every bite is packed with authentic Mediterranean flavor.
At Baba's Bakaliko, we created Baba's Festival Blend to bring those traditional Greek flavors together in one perfectly balanced seasoning. Instead of measuring multiple herbs and spices, simply season your potatoes and let the oven do the rest.
Whether you're serving grilled chicken, pork souvlaki, lamb, or seafood, these potatoes are the perfect Greek side dish.

Frequently Asked Questions
What potatoes work best?
Yukon Gold potatoes are the traditional choice because they become creamy inside while crisping beautifully on the outside.
Can I use russet potatoes?
Yes. Russets will produce a crispier exterior but won't be quite as creamy inside.
Can I make these ahead of time?
Yes.
Reheat in a 400Β°F oven for about 10β15 minutes until hot and crispy.
Can I make them in an air fryer?
Yes.
Cook at 390Β°F for approximately 20β25 minutes, shaking halfway through.
Can I make them vegetarian?
Absolutely.
Simply substitute vegetable broth for chicken broth.
Why do Greek potatoes taste different?
Unlike many roasted potatoes, Greek lemon potatoes cook in a mixture of broth, olive oil, lemon juice, and herbs. As the liquid slowly reduces, the potatoes absorb incredible flavor while developing crispy edges.
